An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join an award-winning financial advisory firm based in the City of London. This firm prides itself on offering a collaborative, friendly, and professional working environment, recognised for its positive workplace culture.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled Paraplanner looking to enhance their expertise, with a unique opportunity to achieve CAS sign-off within 12 months for those who wish to progress into an advisory role. However, the firm is equally open to individuals who prefer to remain in a dedicated paraplanning position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full technical and planning support to Financial Advisers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop tailored financial solutions.
  • Prepare detailed financial plans, suitability reports, and client documentation.
  • Attend client meetings to support advisers and enhance client relationships.
  • Liaise with the Client Support team to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Keep up to date with legislation, compliance requirements, and investment strategies.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge across financial products, tax planning, and market trends.

Key Requirements:

  • DipPFS qualified (Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ paraplanning experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, tax, and investment products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality reports and recommendations.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software such as Voyant, FE Analytics, and Adviser Office is beneficial.
