This client is a leading American law firm with 20 offices around the globe employing over 1200 lawyers. The London office is their European hub and is a vibrant and busy place to work.

They are currently hiring a Revenue Administrator is responsible for the administrative activities relating to new matters. The Revenue Administrator will also provide support the Revenue Controllers with the daily billing and credit control activities.

Responsibilities

  • Circulation of the New Matter Reports and assisting with preparing matters ahead of billing.
  • Obtaining Engagement Letters for review by the Revenue Controllers
  • Assisting with setting up matters for E-billing
  • Preparing weekly time reports
  • Preparing WIP reports
  • Editing pre bills, producing bills and ensuring they comply with relevant VAT and Solicitor’s Accounts Rules
  • Ensuring accurate processing of write offs of unbillable time and disbursements
  • Dealing with time and disbursement transfers
  • Responding to queries promptly and provide copy invoices and time analysis for clients and attorneys when requested
  • Assisting the Revenue controllers with Accounts Receivables - chase clients for payment by emailing, phoning clients as well as sending chase letters and statements
  • Responsible for regular archiving & filing.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 A-C GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • A team player who is well organised, has an excellent attention to detail and recognises the importance of completing work to a high standard
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to deal with changing requirements and timescales, and keen to take on responsibility
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word)
  • Prepared to use initiative and is heavily customer focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritise and multi task certain workloads
  • High level of confidentiality working in a professional environment
