The Diamond Setter will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including micro-setting, side stone and central stone setting, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on role where you will be part of a collaborative team striving for excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diamond and Gemstone Setting: Execute micro-setting, side stone setting, and central stone setting using a variety of techniques tailored to each unique design.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all settings are precise, well-finished, and meet the company's high-quality standards.
  • Accurate Reporting: Track and report on setting throughput, time allocations, melee usage, and lemel recovery.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Assist with the procurement of tools and setting consumables. Maintain and clean setting equipment and workshop tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Workshop Organisation: Keep the setting department and workshop safe, clean, and tidy, adhering to relevant health and safety standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Production team to address any queries or challenges that arise during tasks.
  • Time Management: Manage your time effectively, ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the security of valuable items, follow company security procedures, and maintain strict adherence to product handling protocols.
  • Retail Support: Assist with retail operations when necessary and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
