Role: Chartered Civil Engineer Location: Coulsdon, South London (hybrid) Day Rate: Up to £600 per day (outside IR35) Contract Length: 3-month contract The Civils & Infrastructure division at Ford & Stanley is proud to be exclusively partnered with a well-established technology and civils-based rail company looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer on a contract basis. This role is to assist in delivering a £55m project to roll out over 500 CCTV cameras across the London Underground. Currently at the implementation phase, where they are rolling out the structures that will house the CCTV units. This means a large amount of steel and concrete (civil-based) will be utilised during critical timings to ensure minimal disturbance to the line. 

As Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing off CDFL reviews, providing design assurance on a range of civil and rail projects from bracketry to concrete foundations, and will have a pragmatic approach to compliance, safety and design. 

Key Criteria: Essential: Experienced Civil Engineer Essential: Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering degree  Essential: Full member of a chartered institution i.e. ICE or IStructE Essential: Rail experience with exposure to TfL and LUL processes etc.
