The Position as a Senior Town Planner

  • Project Management: Lead on significant planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client objectives and align with planning policy.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice and innovative solutions.
  • Planning Applications: Oversee the preparation and submission of complex planning applications, including appeals and representations.
  • Policy Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of planning policies, identifying opportunities and risks for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team

Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner

  • RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant.
  • Previous relevant consultancy experience.
  • MRTPI qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders.
