The firm represents a diverse client base, including leading corporates, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. As part of its continued expansion, the firm is seeking a highly motivated 4-6 PQE Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex litigation and dispute resolution matters. This opportunity allows for hands-on involvement in high-value, often multi-jurisdictional cases, such as shareholder disputes, contractual claims, fraud, insolvency, and professional negligence matters.

The solicitor will work closely with partners, gaining valuable experience in case management, strategic litigation approaches, and client representation in court.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse caseload of high-value, complex commercial litigation casesProviding strategic advice to clients, with a focus on practical and effective solutionsDrafting and negotiating key litigation documents, such as pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreementsHandling dispute resolution matters, including arbitration and mediationCollaborating closely with partners and clients to develop case strategiesAdvocating in court where appropriate and instructing counsel in more complex casesKeeping up to date with relevant legal and industry developments

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation, ideally gained at a reputable law firm or boutique litigation practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial litigation, including familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and case law
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Confidence in handling clients, including high-profile or demanding individuals
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value cases independently
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding client service
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, close-knit team
