A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Corporate Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented lawyer to work on a variety of complex and high-profile matters for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private equity firms.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will provide expert advice on a range of UK and international tax issues, with a focus on corporate and transactional tax matters. They will collaborate closely with other practice areas, such as corporate, real estate, and finance, to support transactions and offer standalone tax solutions. The role also involves handling tax disputes and providing strategic advice on cross-border issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on corporate and transactional tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring.Offering strategic tax advice for real estate transactions, financing, and private equity investments.Managing international tax matters such as transfer pricing, double taxation, and cross-border planning.Assisting clients with tax disputes, HMRC investigations, and litigation.Working on multidisciplinary projects and providing integrated tax solutions across different sectors.Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to business development efforts.Key Requirements:

5+ years PQE with significant experience in corporate tax law, gained at a leading law firm or in-house environment.In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and experience in advising on international tax matters.Proven ability to handle complex transactional and advisory work, including M&A, real estate, and finance.Strong client management skills and the ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships.Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to client issues.Strong academic credentials and relevant professional qualifications.
