We are currently partnering with a London Borough, who are recruiting for a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time position with a negotiable rate and the start date is January.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting advocacy at the Magistrates, Crown and County Court as required on behalf of the Council
- Representing the Council in meetings with other authorities, government departments and other bodies
- Efficiently manage case work in accordance with departmental procedures
- Keep up to date with changes in law, and bringing this to the attention of relevant client departments
The successful candidate must have experience looking at the following Civil Litigation:
- Commercial Property
- Debt Recovery
- Adult Social Care
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- They are also open to offering condensed hours
