A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor to join a leading Top 100 London-based firm which is Legal 500 recognised. This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of commercial work, including outsourcing, cloud, technology, distribution agreements, and more. The successful candidate will also be involved in advisory and compliance projects, focusing on supply chain risks, GDPR, crisis management, and other key commercial regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on a variety of commercial agreements, including outsourcing, cloud, and distribution contracts.
  • Managing advisory projects related to supply chain risk, modern slavery, conflict minerals, anti-bribery, GDPR, and more.
  • Leading strategic contractual negotiations and fostering long-term relationships between clients and their service providers.
  • Handling international commercial projects across multiple sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, finance, and emerging start-ups.
  • Contributing to the growth of the firm’s commercial practice while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Candidate Requirements:
  • 2-6 years’ PQE in commercial law.
  • Proven experience advising on complex commercial agreements, with a strategic approach to negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of key commercial regulations, including GDPR and supply chain risk.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels and work effectively in a team.
  • Client-focused and proactive, with an interest in developing a successful career in commercial law.
