About the Role:Venn Group’s specialist public sector legal team is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing legal team within the public sector, playing a pivotal role in the expansion of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex Workload Management: Handle a diverse and complex caseload related to commercial property asset management.
  • Property Transactions: Advise on land title matters and relevant legislation governing property transactions.
  • Asset Management: Provide expert legal support in managing commercial property assets, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to property transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Client Advisory: Offer strategic and practical legal advice on property matters, developing solutions to complex issues efficiently.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations and governance standards.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience: Candidates must have a strong background in commercial property law. Experience within local government is preferred but not essential.
