  • Managing conflict checks on every new enquiry globally to identify and resolve both legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
  • Review every new client and matter opportunity through analysis of internal and external information sources and advise partners globally in relation to conflicts and information barrier management.
  • Advising partners and lawyers regarding conflict check results, processes and policies.
  • Liaise with the Financial Crime team on the Matter Risk assessment.

The PersonThe requirements for the person for the role Conflicts Lawyer or Adviser based in London are as follows:

  • As a minimum Law degree, ideally LPC
  • Minimum of 12 months experience with a Law Private Practice with exposure to Conflicts
  • Understanding of the legal and professional regime applying to conflicts of interest and confidential information
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
