Your new companyThis is a sector-focused global law firm with 700 lawyers working across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia, and Australia. Your new role

The team advises on all aspects of construction law and contracts for a wide range of clients. The team consists of 5 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 4 Senior Associates, 8 Associates, 2 Trainees, 2 Paralegals and 2 support staff.Their particular focus is large disputes for EPC contractors on international projects, primarily in the fields of transport, energy, infrastructure and offshore/ marine construction. The London team works closely with the construction teams in the firms other international offices. The team is recognised by the legal directories - Band 2 in Legal 500.Their caseload is high value. The majority of their work involves disputes in excess of £50m, with many significantly in excess of £100m. Whilst the team does undertake domestic UK work, they undertake relatively few small, domestic cases. Most of their UK work has been on complex engineering projects; in particular, offshore wind farm projects and waste-to-energy.What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in undertaking large-scale, ideally international construction projects within a City, regional or boutique firm environment;
  • 3 - 6 years' PQE. England & Wales qualified or qualified in an overseas jurisdiction with relevant work experience;
