Hatched Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Contracts & Procurement Solicitor. The role is fully remote. 3 - 6 months contract. MOST IMPORTANT BIT: Must have experience in contracts and procurement law within a local authority setting.

We are seeking a skilled Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join our dynamic Legal Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of vital public services and contribute to the ongoing success of our local authority.

Advising RBKC and WCC on an exciting mix of cases ranging from appointment of consultants on high-profile public realm projects to service contract for home care services.

What do you hope this role will achieve and specifically what do you expect the contractor to be doing?

- Advising on own caseload of files

- routine local government public services / works contracts

- drafting contracts

- drafting legal implications for governance reports

- attending client meetings

- advising on contracts, grants and other agreements
