Contracts and Procurement Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE) – Hybrid Working

Position: Contracts and Procurement Lawyer

Organisation: London based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months ongoing contract

Working Pattern: Full time

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working- one day a week office attendance

Hourly Rate:  Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE)

Venn Group’s legal team are working with a London basedLocal Authority to recruit a LocumContracts and Procurement Lawyer.

The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx with a current practicing certificate, who has experience of handling a varied workload of Contracts and Procurement cases including construction matters.

 Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.

Duties shall include:

1. Advising on all aspects of contract and procurement matters in the public sector
2. Drafting contracts including JCT and NEC’s
3. Handle disputes and provide solutions to contractual issues
4. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and laws
