Conveyancing Solicitor (NQ - Head of Department)

My client is currently recruiting for Property / Conveyancing Solicitors and Licenced Conveyancers to join their thriving London office. Within the role you will have the opportunity to progress your career with a growing law firm and will be responsible for handling a mixed case load of property matters.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.

  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing matters from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on property law matters.
  • Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
  • Conduct due diligence and title searches to identify any legal issues affecting the property.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.

Skills and experience required:

  • Qualified as a Solicitor with experience in Conveyancing
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
