We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Solicitor with 4+ years of PQE to join the corporate and commercial team of a leading Legal 500 full-service law firm in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor to work with a tight knit & dynamic team, advising on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters.The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including general corporate and commercial work, with a particular focus on M&A, corporate restructurings, business agreements, and commercial contracts. You will be part of a team that serves clients across a variety of sectors, offering strategic legal advice to businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to established multinational corporations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients, ensuring they navigate complex legal landscapes with ease.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contributing to business development efforts.
  • Working closely with senior colleagues to develop your expertise and take on increased responsibility.
Candidate Requirements:
  • 4+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law, ideally with experience from a well-regarded law firm or exceptional in-house exposure.
  • Strong technical expertise in corporate transactions and commercial contracts, with a hands-on approach to complex legal matters.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A client-focused approach, with a desire to build strong relationships and contribute to the team’s growth through business development.
  • A strong academic background and a commercial mindset.
