Are you an experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion specialist looking for a new challenge? Do you want to help our growing and ambitious client make meaningful changes? Would you like to spearhead the DE&I function and make it your own?Our client is a mid-sized global law firm based in stunning offices a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street who are leaders in their field and they are keen to find a DE&I specialist to help the firm navigate the current business world and make sure that their existing, and future staff are working in a culture that is inclusive and fair, while maintaining their commerciality. Key duties will include;
- Plan, define, and outline DE&I objectives that are commercial and appropriate.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, DE&I champions to manage projects in the London head office and across their international locations.
- Support, champion and lead on projects across the core pillars of the DE&I policy (gender, LGBTQ+, race & ethnicity, disability/neurodiversity, social mobility and mental health).
- Design, plan, implement, and communicate the firm's global DE&I strategy.
- Champion the DE&I campaigns such as World Mental Health Day, International Women's Day, and International Men's Day.
- Work with partners and other DE&I champions who have roles within internal committees and network.
- Serve as the main contact for external DE&I partners.
- Prepare reports for the leadership team, website and outbound communications on the firm's DE&I strategy, objectives and performance as required.
What they are looking for is a confident and articulate DE&I Manager with solid experience within commercial environments. Some experience within a law firm or other professional services organisation would be great, but not essential. Superb stakeholder management skills, diplomacy and communication skills are essential.
