Duty Solicitor   Due to expansion an experienced Duty Solicitor is wanted for an opportunity with a fast growing, Legal 500, Criminal Law firm in Oxford or London.   The successful candidate will have acquired upwards of 2 years Criminal Law experience in a busy high street or regional law firm, possess or be working to Duty Solicitor Accreditation and be motivated to build out a career in a friendly and supportive legal environment and a firm on an upwards trajectory.   Salary is c£50,000 dependent on experience with comprehensive benefits.  The successful Duty Solicitor will join a busy department and manage a caseload of general crime matters. Day to day duties will vary and include providing advice at court and police stations, file preparation and reviews for magistrates and crown court cases, advocacy in the magistrate's court for trials, bail applications and remand hearings.
