- Collaborate within the Family team to foster a productive work environment, supporting Senior Associates and Partners on more complex matters when necessary.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Stay informed about the legal market, particularly in relation to Family Law
- Work as part of the Family team on both national and international cases, including divorce, financial disputes, matrimonial arbitration/mediation, prenuptial agreements, child arrangements, and child abduction cases.
- Meet financial targets set
- Monitor personal performance, including the number of active files, file closures, billings, and time recording, and take necessary steps to meet targets.
- Maintain high standards of client care to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Support marketing and business development activities, such as contributing to e-newsletters or attending seminars.
- Qualified Family Solicitor (4 years’ PQE plus)
- Previous experience in divorce, matrimonial finance disputes, prenuptial agreements, Children Act matters, matrimonial arbitration/mediation, and cohabitation disputes.
- Excellent time management skills to meet client and internal deadlines.
- Client-focused with the ability to offer pragmatic solutions tailored to individual client needs.
- Team player with the ability to support Senior Associates and Partners when needed.
- Proficient in Excel and other IT tools, including Outlook, Word, Digital Dictation, and Axxia.
- Strong attention to detail when drafting legal documents.
- Effective communication skills, able to engage clients in writing, over the phone, and in person.
