The OpportunityI am currently working with an international law firm on a finance associate/senior associate role based in their London office.

The firm are ranked on highly in the legal directories for this area of law and are looking to expand their 16 strong team (which includes 3 market leading partners), which is the largest in the City for this type of work.

The role will involve advising on a broad range of finance transactions including; pension schemes, insurers, reinsurers, banks and other financial institution clients on regulatory and capital-driven transactions.You can expect to get involved with the following work;

  • novel structured products;
  • vanilla tripartite custody account security structures (usually including an account control agreement);
  • title transfer collateral arrangements;
  • capital regulation;
  • securitisations and repackaging, including SPIRE;
  • taking security over illiquid structures, like fund units and interests, long term mortgages, credit and real estate;
  • issues around set off and netting, close out and termination, including for cross border transactions.
