Background

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer, specialising in Structured Derivatives. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across two different front office areas, providing transactional advice to the Global Markets and Risk Solutions business teams. The successful candidate will be part of an intellectually stimulating environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.

What you'll do:

As a Vice President in our client's Legal department, your role will be multifaceted. You will provide transactional advice to various business teams, working closely with them on structuring, negotiation, and execution of various financial products. Your analytical skills will be crucial in advising internal stakeholders on legal risks. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work on projects within the Legal department, representing it on various internal projects.

  • Provide transactional advice to structured solutions businesses and Risk Solutions business teams
  • Work closely with the Risk Solutions business on structuring, negotiation and execution of loan-linked hedging, deal contingent trades, novations and other hedging arrangements
  • Work closely with the Structured Solutions business on structuring, negotiation and execution of different structured derivative products
  • Analyse and advise internal stakeholders on legal risks
  • Facilitate and execute transactions from structuring stage to execution
  • Work on projects within the Legal department, representing the Legal department on various internal projects
