Are you a talented Private Client Solicitor looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are working with a renowned UK-based advisory business seeking a dedicated professional to join our clients esteemed legal team.

  • Expert Team: Collaborate with accountants, IFAs, and tax specialists to provide comprehensive services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer deceased estates (both testate and intestate).
  • Draft Wills, including trusts for business assets or life interest trusts.
  • Manage a variety of trust matters (Charitable, Discretionary, IIPs, Old A&M trusts, onshore, and Excluded Property trusts).
  • Support and advise HNW (£2-20m) and UHNW (£20m+) individuals, including owner-managed businesses.
  • Handle Powers of Attorney, post-death variations, and Deeds of Family Arrangement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Contribute to publications on private client topics for trade and national press.

Essential Skills & Expertise:

  • Qualified and practising solicitor with a focus on private client law and capital tax.
  • Knowledge of onshore private client work and sound tax knowledge (IHT and CGT).
  • Experience with complex multi-jurisdictional probates and Trust Corporations.
  • Competent in dealing with multi-jurisdictional Wills and aware of related tax and succession laws.
  • Working knowledge of Brussels IV.
  • Strong intellect, creative thinking, excellent technical drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and organizational abilities.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
