We are excited to be partnering with a top tier Law Firm who are looking for an In House Lawyer to join their Hybrid London Team.

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a key hire in the In House team and we are seeking an in-house Regulatory and Compliance Solicitor to lead a small team and support the Board of Directors with risk and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Report to the Management Board on risk and compliance.

- Deliver induction and probationary training on compliance.

- Train staff on compliance updates.

- Oversee file reviews and ensure completion.

- Audit company procedures and processes on compliance.

- Handle complaints in line with the company’s policy.

- Manage regulatory risk and compliance matters as per SRA and ICO guidelines.

- Assist with annual regulatory audits and renewals.

- Support staff with case-related and insurance-related compliance issues.

- Maintain compliance-related central registers.

Skills and Experience:

- Expertise in risk and compliance within a legal context.

- Familiarity with SRA Standards and Regulations, SRA Codes of Conduct, Solicitors Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection, and risk assessment.

- Knowledge of Law Society Lexcel Standards is advantageous.

- Strategic mindset and ability to work in a paperless environment.

- Up-to-date with recent legislative changes.

- Report to the Management Board on risk and compliance.

- Deliver induction and probationary training on compliance.

- Train staff on compliance updates.

- Oversee file reviews and ensure completion.

- Audit company procedures and processes on compliance.

- Handle complaints in line with the company’s policy.
