A unique opportunity has arisen for an Intellectual Property Disputes Lawyer to join a key client of ours on a flexible consultancy basis. This client is an innovative law firm, dedicated to servicing entrepreneurial clients to include start-ups and SMEs. They pride themselves on their 'people first' approach and their recently obtained B-Corp status.

This consultancy arrangement is non-exclusive, capable of sitting alongside other projects, and can be undertaken on a fully remote basis.

The successful Lawyer can expect to be provided with some work from the firm (with a competitive hourly rate to support this) and be involved in Business Development initiatives to further broaden the IP Disputes offering. A fee-share arrangement is on offer for any work brought in off the back of any business development activity. It is imperative that consultants have the drive and desire to be part of building out an IP Disputes offering.

Successful Lawyers are likely to demonstrate:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
  • A strong intellectual property disputes background obtained from notable city or international law firms
  • A wealth of contentious intellectual property experience
  • Experience in a full range of contentious intellectual property matters
  • Experience in securing new work via business development activities and initiatives
  • A drive and desire to be part of building out an IP Disputes offering
  • A genuine interest in working on a flexible consultancy basis
  • A desire to work with SMEs, start ups and scale ups
  • The ability to work autonomously with a keen eye for detail
  • The capacity to start a new opportunity immediately or at short notice
