We are delighted to partner with a global financial technology company specialising in FX and cryptocurrency trading to support their search for a Legal Associate based in their London office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive and ambitious NQ-2 years PQE England and Wales Qualified Lawyer looking to work at a growing company, where career growth is offered from the get go!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic legal advice across corporate, commercial, IP & data protection matters.
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance, particularly with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
* Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Compliance, and Risk, to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
* England & Wales qualified lawyer with 0-2 years PQE.
* Proven experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in a regulated industry is essential, with a preference for exposure within a Financial Services organisation.
