Your new company

A global digital transformation consultancy committed to delivering innovative solutions is seeking a dynamic individual to join their legal team. This role involves overseeing legal operations in the United Kingdom and supporting global programs.

Your new roleAs Legal Counsel for six months, you will:

  • Oversee legal operations in the UK and support the global legal team.
  • Provide training and roll out legal procedures in the UK.
  • Support a broader entity consolidation project.
  • Manage the review, drafting, and negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts.
  • Support data protection and privacy compliance activities.
  • Seek guidance and approval from executive management on matters outside internal governance requirements.
  • Assist the General Counsel with initiatives and ad hoc projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales is desired.
  • Experience in international commercial contracts, data protection/privacy regulations, and legal operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and good working knowledge of MS Office and G-suite applications.
  • Strong English, written and contract drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a large and varied workload with competing demands.
  • Preferred: 3 years' experience in commercial contracts management within an international commercial or digital/technology business.
