Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft essential documents
- Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations
- Provide strategic advice on property-related legal issues
- Negotiate settlements and draft agreements
- Assist with due diligence investigations for mergers and acquisitions
- Review legal documents and identify potential risks
- Draft and negotiate merger agreements, contracts, and legal documents
- Ensure legal compliance during mergers and acquisitions
- Handle insurance claims and disputes
- Review insurance policies and provide coverage guidance
- Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and regulatory agencies
- Prepare legal opinions on insurance-related matters
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
- Minimum of 3-4 years of PQE
- Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and insurance law
- Proven experience in property litigation, mergers & acquisitions, and insurance matters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
