Are you a Qualified Lawyer with experience of Shipping Litigation, looking to join a large Premier London Law firm who will value your maritime and offshore litigation experience and offer a clear progression path towards Management, Partner and equity Partner in the future?

Our client are a prestigious international law firm established for over 100 years and their maritime division of recognised Maritime professionals work on some of the most significant marine and offshore matters in the industry. Our client will support your professional development and are keen to employ candidates who have or are keen to manage other members of staff.

The Role:

  • Primary focus on Shipping Litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Litigation work before the Commercial Court in London and some other jurisdictions.
  • Develop your legal skills as a contract Lawyer
  • Arbitration work may be institutional (Typically ICC, LCIA or SIAC)
  • Complex marine incidents, Charter party disputes, carriage of goods.
  • Exposure to a wide range of clients.
  • Drafting and advisory work.
  • Clients include some of the largest Shipowners, Charterers, P&I Clubs, Shipyard and Banks.
  • Freedom and support to develop own network.
  • Hybrid working is fully open to discussion.

The Person:

  • England & Wales Qualified Lawyer with Post Qualification Experience
  • Significant Shipping/Maritime Litigation experience
  • Looking to move towards management in the near future
