The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in advising on and drafting construction documents for major infrastructure and energy projects, including EPC contracts, development agreements, and professional appointments. Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating key construction agreements, including JCT and NEC contracts.
- Advising on procurement strategies, risk mitigation, and project delivery mechanisms.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects across sectors.
- Supporting clients throughout the development lifecycle, from inception to completion.
- Contributing to business development to enhance the firm's construction law offering.
Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained at a leading firm or in-house.
- Strong experience with JCT, NEC, and other construction contract forms.
- Commercially astute, with a proactive and pragmatic approach to client needs.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
