Opportunity for a Patent Associate to join an international, Top 40 Law Firm in London.

The Firm

Our client is a leading international law firm, headquartered in London but with offices scattered around the globe, across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The firm have an outstanding reputation for providing the highest quality of advice to listed and private companies, institutions, and individuals.

They boast a highly reputable Intellectual Property team and are recognised by the Legal directories for their expertise in both Patents and soft IP (including trademarks, copyright and design).

Due to growth, the team are now looking for an experienced IP (Patent focused) Associate to join their market-leading team.

Vacancy

The IP Group are accredited by various legal directories, the World IP Review's Leaders Directory, IAM Patent 1000 and Managing IP's IP STARS.

They work across transaction, advisory and litigation IP matters including patents, copyrights, trade marks, designs, database rights, domain names and confidential information.

The team have considerable experience advising on both domestic and international issues including on cross-border matters.

Sector wise, the team has particular strengths in life sciences, consumer, retail brand, tech and decarbonisation.

They're now looking for an experienced IP Associate to join their team and take on a patent disputes focused position.

The role will involve advising primarily on both contentious and non-contentious patent matters in the tech and life sciences sectors. However, there will also be an opportunity to also advise on non-patent matters across the wider IP practice.

Requirements

  • Qualified IP Associate with 4 years' PQE +
  • Strong track record of handling Patent Litigation
  • The Oxford IP Diploma course is desirable
