Practice Specialist

US Law Firm is seeking to hire a Practice Specialist to support the London Funds group.  The successful candidate will report into individuals in both London and New York and will be housed in the Practice Management team, however they will work very closely with the Billing & Collections team with a focus to improve financial management.

Practice Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote successful and efficient financial performance management of the European Investment Management Group
  • Support regular operations and promote organisational efficiencies
  • Support lawyers and senior members of the Practice Management team in compiling and disseminating internal group updates and priorities
  • Facilitate various talent initiatives, including efforts relating to succession planning, promotions and hiring

Practice Specialist Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required
  • At least three years of employment in a law firm is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with lawyers and staff at all levels within the organization, and from time to time with clients and third parties
