Principal Lawyer - (Property, Planning and Regeneration) needed in Haringey, £36ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1447852

1. To assist the Head of Legal Services in the provision of legal advice and assistance to the Client, Members and Officers.2. To lead and manage a legal team, and to work collaboratively and flexibly across teams and Divisions.3. To lead and drive forward innovation in the Legal Service while addressing risk and political sensitivity.4. To participate in strategic business planning.5. Develop and promote partnership working to deliver Client services.6. To deputise for the Head of Legal Services as required.7. To support the Monitoring Officer as required.8. To advocate on behalf of the Client taking into account all relevant factors.9. To deliver strategic support and timely and accurate advice to local and Client wide projects.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
