About the Firm:

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, leading law firm in Central London known for delivering high-quality legal services. The firm has a well-established Private Client department, providing top-tier advice and support to a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts.

Role Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a dynamic and highly regarded team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on a broad spectrum of private client matters, including estate planning, wills, probate, tax, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters, including complex and high-value estates.
  • Advising clients on wills, probate, estate administration, and succession planning.
  • Providing tax planning advice, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
  • Advising on the creation and management of trusts and charitable foundations.
  • Assisting with the drafting of legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of client care.
  • Supporting senior solicitors with complex cases and contributing to business development initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years PQE in Private Client law, ideally gained from a reputable law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of private client matters, including wills, probate, tax, and trusts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach.
  • STEP qualification or working towards it would be advantageous but is not essential.
