A legal 500 law firm is currently seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding team in LondonRole Overview: As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload that includes complex tax and trust matters, alongside wills, probate, and Court of Protection cases. You will play a crucial role in the development and expansion of our Private Client department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including complex tax and trust matters, wills, probate, and Court of Protection work.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on tax, trusts, deputyships, and probate.
  • Engage in business development activities to support the growth of the department.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and professional contacts, maintaining the firm’s high standards of client care.
  • Draft legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting senior members as needed.
  • Use the firm’s case management system efficiently and effectively.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 3 years PQE in private client law.
  • Strong knowledge of tax, trusts, deputyships, probate, and wills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Proficient in IT and experienced with case management systems.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to supporting colleagues.
