Location: Newham
Salary: 24.53 hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Temporary: until 29/12/24 with the possibility of extension
Are you a skilled Procurement Lawyer looking for a dynamic new opportunity? Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join their team. With a focus on providing strategic legal advice and solutions, this role offers a diverse and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level legal advice on procurement matters to Councils, Members, and Officers
- Support the delivery of legal solutions in various areas of legal work to help the Councils achieve corporate goals
- Contribute to a shared back office support service, offering expertise in procurement and related areas
- Handle a portfolio of high-quality legal work across multiple disciplines and locations
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, including trainees and support staff
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with expertise in procurement and related legal areas
- Proven experience in providing strategic legal advice and solutions
- Strong understanding of corporate goals and the ability to align legal strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
