Description
- Manage a portfolio of professional negligence defence cases
- Writer PAP letters of response in-house on small to medium sizes matters.
- Provide legal advice and representation to insured professionals
- Conduct legal research to support cases
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings and briefs
- Participate in negotiations and mediations
- Cooperate with members of the legal department to achieve common goals
- Stay up-to-date with developments in insurance law
- Maintain client relationships and develop new ones
Profile
A successful Professional Negligence Defence Solicitor should have:
- A law degree and a Professional Negligence Solicitor qualification
- Experience in defending professional negligence claims
