The firms advise across the full range of practice areas, regularly acting on complex and high-profile mandates for a variety of UK and international clients.The Real Estate Litigation Group is consistently highly ranked in the leading UK directories for real estate dispute resolution work. The group sits within the firm's wider Real Estate Department consisting of 75 fee earners. Due to further expansion of the group, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join this market leading practice in London at Director level.The work will include working on a varied and interesting case-load which involves working with clients from different sectors including Retail, Energy, Hotels & Leisure, Offices, Industrial and Development.The specialisms of the team include development (including vacant possession strategies and rights of light), property-related professional negligence, pre-emptive injunctive relief, secured lending, telecoms and rent review, in addition to the usual focus on management matters (including business lease renewals, dilapidations, breaks, arrears and tenant insolvency).The successful candidate will have day to day responsibility for supervising junior members of the team and will be required to assist with a busy case-load, which will include dealing with both contentious and potentially non contentious matters from their start through to a conclusion.There are very good career progression opportunities for the successful candidate with a track to Partnership and the opportunity to take on responsibility and gain exposure to a wide breadth of work.The ideal candidate will have 8+PQE in and have a strong track record of Real Estate Litigation experience gained at a reputable practice in London.Please apply as directed or confidentially contact Aidan McAvinue at Search Legal for more information.
