Our client is an impressive scale up law firm based in the West End, a business that puts a high emphasis on community work, ESG, and sustainability and are a forward thinking impressive law firm.

With a head count of around 100 and a multi discipline business there is an exciting opportunity to join their second biggest team in the business for a Senior Associate or up to Junior partner for their real estate team.

Role

To be a member of the Property team, providing a world-class service to their clients on a range of property matters.  You will be involved with managing  your own caseload such as:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
  • Development work both commercial and residential
  • Property finance and restructuring including bridging, mezzanine and development
  • Option agreements and conditional contracts
  • Landlord & tenant work,
  • Negotiation of new leases,
  • Renewals,
  • Involvement with business development initiatives and client retention plans.
  • Actively pursuing new client opportunities and building the reputation and profile of the team with external contacts.
  • Supervising of junior team members to develop technical and professional skills across the team.
  • Providing regular involvement with knowledge sharing and learning and development opportunities within the team.Ideal candidate experience
  • Proactive, self-motivated and reliable individual
  • 6 + years’ experience within private practice
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Commercial acumen to deliver advice with maximum profitability
  • Demonstrates good financial awareness and pragmatism
  • Strong organisation and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • A friendly and personable approach with colleagues and clients
  • A proactive and growth mindset towards achieving goals
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
