About the Role: Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Central London, is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and more complex matters such as shared ownership and enfranchisement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold matters.
  • Provide clients with clear, practical, and timely advice on all aspects of residential property transactions.
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, and other property-related documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions.
  • Handle exchanges and completions, ensuring all legal requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Assist in more complex property transactions, including shared ownership, enfranchisement, and lease extensions.
  • Keep clients informed and updated on progress, responding promptly to queries.
  • Maintain high standards of client care, ensuring a professional and responsive service.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in residential property law.
  • Strong experience managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation, including leasehold law and property finance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a varied caseload.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach to your work.
  • Previous experience in a reputable law firm or private practice would be advantageous.
