About the Role: Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Central London, is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and more complex matters such as shared ownership and enfranchisement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold matters.
- Provide clients with clear, practical, and timely advice on all aspects of residential property transactions.
- Draft and review contracts, leases, and other property-related documentation.
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions.
- Handle exchanges and completions, ensuring all legal requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Assist in more complex property transactions, including shared ownership, enfranchisement, and lease extensions.
- Keep clients informed and updated on progress, responding promptly to queries.
- Maintain high standards of client care, ensuring a professional and responsive service.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in residential property law.
- Strong experience managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation, including leasehold law and property finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a varied caseload.
- A proactive, client-focused approach to your work.
- Previous experience in a reputable law firm or private practice would be advantageous.
