Aj Chambers are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our clients Property department in London.The successful candidate will be responsible for handling their own matters whilst also collaborating with a team. The successful candidate will possess a high level of emotional intelligence to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. Attention to detail and organisation skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload independently
  • Meet financial and billable time targets
  • Have a strong technical legal background, able to deal with complex matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay current on industry trends and changes in legislation
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and referrers
  • Develop a business plan and anticipate market changes and adapt accordingly
  • Develop excellent working relationships and cross-sell with other teams
  • Manage secretaries and support staff including carrying out appraisals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years PQE in Property but ideally more
  • Have a following of clients or strong contacts in your area.
  • Proven track record of success in property matters
  • Strong understanding of regulations and processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
