A leading international legal practice, renowned for advising major corporates, funds, and institutions on complex matters, is seeking a Senior Associate Lawyer to join their London pensions team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pensions specialist to take on high-level advisory work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The firm supports hybrid working, with the expectation of office attendance three days per week, and flexibility around core hours.



The Senior Associate Lawyer's role

As a Senior Associate Lawyer in the pensions team, you'll work across a broad range of matters including scheme funding, benefit redesign, regulatory advice, scheme mergers, and pensions investment. The client base includes some of the UK's largest pension schemes, master trusts, employers, charities, and trade unions.

The Senior Associate Lawyer will also support corporate transactions, contribute to client relationship management, and take part in business development activities. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate, finance, and disputes teams to deliver a joined-up service.



The Senior Associate Lawyer

The ideal Senior Associate Lawyer will:

  • Be qualified in England & Wales with 5-7 years' PQE in pensions law.

  • Demonstrate expertise in technical pensions work, with exposure to investment and de-risking issues being a plus.

  • Be confident in handling matters independently and supervising junior colleagues.

  • Possess a commercial, client-first mindset and strong communication skills.

Experience advising both trustees and employers is essential.
