Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Lawyer with a strong background inpublic sector housinglitigation. The role involves managing cases to Lexcel standards, providing advocacy in County Court, and handling debt recovery and insolvency procedures. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and representation on public sector housing litigation matters.
• Manage debt recovery and insolvency procedures effectively.
• Advocate in the County Court for relevant cases.
• Maintain efficient case management according to Lexcel standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members on various legal issues.
• Undertake research into different areas of law when necessary.
• Travel to attend court and tribunals as required.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in public sector housing litigation.
• Expertise in debt recovery and insolvency procedures.
• Experience in advocacy within the County Court.
• Strong case management skills to meet Lexcel standards.
• Willingness to undertake technical training.
• Legal research experience (desirable).
