We are supporting a leading organisation with a new Senior Legal Counsel, Construction opportunity. This is a fantastic opening to work on high-value non-contentious construction and infrastructure projects in a supportive, flexible, and collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate complex contracts, with a focus on FIDIC agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide expert legal advice on non-contentious construction and infrastructure project matters, supporting the business in high-value transactions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage legal risks and maintain focus on project goals.
  • Assist in developing strategies to deliver large-scale construction projects effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business, contributing to a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of five years PQE.
  • Significant experience within handling a broad range of non-contentious construction law, having worked on FIDIC contracts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance attention to detail and understanding of the "big picture."
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
