This is a Hybrid role for a mid-level lawyer (with at least 4 years PQE) who has focused on M&A and PE work. The vacancy sits within an established Legal Function of a well known Financial Services Business and offers hybrid working (2 days per week in the London office, with remainder from home).

Description

Responsibilities with this role will include:

  • Providing robust legal advice to the business in relation to corporate/M&A transactions and negotiate, execute and manage transactions in close connection with external counsel taking responsibility for principal transaction documents including share purchase agreements, investment agreements, joint venture and shareholders' agreements and limited partnership agreements

  • Providing day-to-day legal support to the business in relation to general corporate advisory matters for existing investments

  • Assisting deal teams with corporate governance matters in connection with transactions, including review of investment papers and obtaining internal approvals

  • Assisting deal teams with due diligence investigations in connection with transactions in close connection with external counsel and other advisers

Profile

The successful candidate will be a UK or Common Law Lawyer and will be likely to have at least 4 years PQE.

They will have experience of running M&A transactions, PE related work and minority investments into multiple sectors.
