Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory
Astral Legal have partnered with a Global Insurance company in London as they are recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel to offer strategic legal advice to the business on pensions and savings products.
The ideal Senior Legal Counsel will offer advice around regulatory issues, managing legal risks working with the business.
You will handle:
- Providing legal advice and supporting the business around products and associated regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies and provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks, identify potential issues, and provide proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors, as necessary.
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes, provide legal advice on business initiatives, and help drive overall business goals.
- You will be joining a team of established lawyers.
The ideal Senior Legal Counsel will possess the following:
- Ideally be around 10 years PQE.
- Have strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations and be able to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical solutions
- Have a strong understanding of working with the Regulator.
- A track record in providing legal advice regarding financial services products and associated regulatory matters..
- Expert knowledge of relevant FCA/PRA regulation and its impact on the group.
- Work with senior stakeholders and have a proven track record working in a fast-moving environment.
