As a key member of their team, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of legal risk, providing strategic and operational legal advice, and ensuring compliance with employment law. If you possess exceptional expertise in employment and industrial relations matters, this role offers you the chance to make a significant impact within a transformative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure legal input on various projects and day-to-day operations
  • Identify and solve complex strategic and operational legal issues, providing accurate and timely advice
  • Lead and support on recruitment issues, policies, procedures, internal processes, and restructuring initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on employment tribunal litigation and manage related legal matters
  • Synthesise and clearly present complex legal matters and risks to senior management

Requirements:

  • UK qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate
  • Extensive knowledge of UK employment law, including recruitment practises, policies, and procedures, internal processes, and redundancy matters
  • Corporate support experience would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with trade unions, public sector employers, pensions & reward, and high-profile work environments would be a plus
