We are currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our client on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will report directly to the General Counsel and gain exposure to all business lines at a broad level.
On a day to day basis, you will be involved on a variety of work across multiple business lines. This will include power purchase agreements, commodity trading documents, corporate documents, complex derivatives, financing facilities, and litigation. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of products and documents and will help to manage an established but growing legal team.
We're looking for candidates with the following background:
- At least 3 years' post qualification experience in the UK
- Ideal would be a Project Finance background
- Adaptable, pragmatic, with a commercial mindset
- Possess gravitas with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external teams
- Flexible with a proactive attitude towards work
- Experience of working in energy and/or commodities (preferred)
