- Advising new and existing clients effectively and efficiently, recording all advice given.
- Regular client liaison and coordination with third parties, including expert witnesses, courts, counsel, beneficiaries, probate registry, and HMRC.
- Working closely with secretarial staff to ensure the timely preparation of legal documents.
- Staying up to date with professional development and best practices.
- Accurately recording billable time and ensuring timely client billing.
- Complying with SRA regulations regarding client accounts, professional conduct, and client care.
- Proactively engaging in business development activities to promote the firm’s services.
- Meeting set billing and chargeable hour targets.
- At least 5 years’ PQE in private client law
- Confident in managing own caseload,
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong business development and networking abilities will be an asset in contributing to the department’s ongoing growth.
