The OpportunityI am working with a specialist shipping law firm on a shipping litigation associate role. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years PQE. The firm have a 10 strong team with market leading partners boasting over 80 years of shipping experience. The firm has a dedicated focus on the shipping, insurance, energy, trade, logistics and construction sectors. Their clients include P&I Clubs, hull underwriters, insurance companies, ship owners and operators, charterers, salvors, liner companies, pools, ship yards, trading companies, contractors, logistics companies and brokers. The firm are ranked on in both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 for shipping law. The firm offers both a discretionary and hours-based bonus scheme from 10-40%. The Ideal Candidate

  • Litigation/ arbitration experience ideally in the shipping or commodity space
  • Ability to handle an arbitration or court case and knows the procedural issues and how to manage the file
