You’ll be joining a global market leader in structured finance, with a highly ranked team in London. Led by industry experts who are leaders in their field, they serve a prestigious clientele, including financial institutions, private equity firms, trustees and global opportunities funds. They offer comprehensive advice on all securitisation asset classes, portfolio sales, warehouse financing and securitisation refinancing, along with other forms of structured finance. Additionally, there are opportunities to engage in diverse transactional work, such as debt capital markets, Islamic finance/Sukuk and derivatives.
The Role
The team is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its expanding Structured Finance team. This role involves advising on top-tier structured finance and securitisation projects within a collaborative and supportive environment. You will leverage the firm's global presence and local expertise to manage international transactions and meet clients' needs. This position offers outstanding long-term career prospects, including client relationship building, business development, thought leadership and mentoring junior colleagues.
The Requirements
- 2+ years PQE level
- Extensive knowledge of securitisation and structured finance transactions
- Experience as transaction counsel on securitisation and structured finance deals is advantageous
- Familiarity with international finance sector clients
- Strong academics
- Exceptional drafting and legal research skills
- Proactive and driven, with a focus on career development
- Team player with sociable nature
